Plan to paddle Friday May 22 - Monday May 25 in the Methow valley. On Friday and Saturday we will meet at McFarland river access at 12:00 with option to take out before the more technical Black Canyon rapid. On Sunday and Monday there will be options to run the Twisp river if sufficient flows or the easier class II run from Carlton to McFarland. Saturday night there will be a campfire and potluck dinner with hot dogs and burgers.
Camping - be aware there are no toilet facilities at this campsite so be prepared.
Most of us are camping at the free Forest Service (FS) site up Twisp River Road. The coordinates are: 48.371177, -120.317638.
