Welcome to the Fifth Annual Headhunt on Headworks, Green River Washington.
Numbered skulls will be placed in the river by our Grim Reaper for kayakers to retrieve & exchange for prizes. Additionally, there will be some raffle baskets with items donated by the paddling community.
Costumes are encouraged as well as proper white water gear and helmets. Keep an eye on our event page to see what donations will be included. There will be a potluck gathering after the run.
This is a community building event and fundraiser for Mayday Foundation. Mayday provides immediate, practical financial support to local families coping with cancer while raising kids at home. We believe that no one should be forced out of their home or into bankruptcy as a result of a cancer diagnosis. Last year we raised over $4800 and hope to raise over $5000 this year.
