The 40th Annual Green River Cleanup is happening today, but the official cleanup is focused solely on the whitewater segments of the Green. We‘re going to do our own PTCC cleanup on the flatwater segment starting at Van Doren‘s Landing Park in Kent. If you‘re interested, please sign up for this trip on PTCC and also on the GRCU page at greenrivercleanup.org. Contact Jeff Davis if you have difficulty signing up on the Cleanup site. Suggested things to add to your usual equipment: work gloves, grabbing device if you have one, garbage bags. We will do a car shuttle to Tukwila before setting out. Contact Jeff Davis for best directions to launch if you‘re not familiar with it. POSTPONED TO TUESDAY MAY 14

Red Barn at Tolt MacDonald Park in Carnation 31020 NE 40th St, Carnation, WA 98014 Note: Please be sure to register online by May 15th if you plan to come for the FREE breakfast. We will start serving breakfast at 9:30. As in previous years, Club officers will be cooking and serving PTCC members and their guests a full breakfast on the club. Breakfast will be followed by the annual rope throwing contests for distance and accuracy. Hopefully, those fierce competitors from north of the border will be able to once again sweep most of the competitions. After festivities at the park are complete, you will have your choice between several paddling trips from Flatwater to Class III. All members and their guests are welcome. So, come join your paddling friends for a great breakfast followed by a day of canoeing. Please register for the Spring Bash by May 15th so that we can be sure to have enough hash browns for everyone! Depending on water levels, these are river trips we will likely paddle: Flatwater Trip Plum Landing to Fall City Class I+ Snoqualmie Club Stretch II SF Snoqualmie Class II+ Upper MF Snoqualmie II+. MM Snoqualmie III - will depend on water levels and interest
